Levenda holds a master’s degree in Religious Studies and Asian Studies. He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the T.E. Lawrence Society, the AFIO, and he is also a charter member of the Norman Mailer Society, with Mailer having written the forward Levenda’s book, Unholy Alliance, which dealt with the history of Nazi involvement with the occult.
